Is learning Latin the same as learning italian?
Not at all. I’m Italian and I study Latin at school. I can say that so many words are almost the same, but the rules of syntax and few details are so hard also to me who I’m Italian. So, I can say that sometimes I do Latin homework in a very short time but another times I spend a lot of my time to do it, above all when they are difficult because they have the structure of the phrases especially complicated. So, even though Italian comes from Latin, I cannot say that Latin and Italian are identical, but I can say that Italian is so similar to Latin, with few differences. Latin is more complicated also because it’s older and it’s an out-of-date language now. Notwithstanding Latin is so complicated I love it and I wanna keep on studying it. Above all to me, who I’m Italian, the study of Latin is very important because it lets me to learn better my language. I suggest the English studying Latin because there are words in English that come from Latin and so we can know your language better
