The N.C. General Assembly Session Law 2009-451 states, “high school students attending a non-public school may enroll in any Learn and Earn Online course with space available that has been offered to but not filled by any eligible public school student.” Non-public students taking Learn and Earn classes in the areas of science, technology, and mathematics are exempt from tuition, but must supply their own textbooks and other instructional materials.
