Yes. And if I were a young, attractive single female, I would look into cocktailing. If you don’t have experience, you can go to bartending school. It’s also for cocktail waitresses and most schools guarantee to get you a job when you complete the course. You’ll start at a low end hotel such as Imperial Palace or someplace like that and when you get experience you can apply elsewhere. A good, experience cocktail waitress in Vegas earns in excess of $4000 a month. That’s a really really lowball figure. Rent on a decent one bedroom apartment will run you around $900 per month. Look to Summerlin, The Lakes or Green Valley to live. Don’t gamble for fun. Las Vegas is full of broke people who live here and caught the gambling bug. You can do anything here that you’d do anywhere else. Go hiking at Red Rock, boating at Lake Mead. Camping at Mt. Charleston. Skiing in the winter at same Mt Charleston.
