Is LANce-3000 easy to install?
Yes, even though LANce-3000 is a hardwired system, it is relatively easy to install. LANce-3000 is a distributed system, which means that the control modules are located with the equipment to be controlled or monitored. With other hardwired systems, the control modules are usually located in a central location, – i.e. the basement which requires miles of wiring to be routed between the control modules and devices thus making it very difficult to implement an economical retrofit. With LANce-3000s distributed network, the existing wiring can be used in retrofits, and it is only necessary to install a 4 wire cable to connect the control modules. Distributed networks have been used in the commercial building industry for many years and have been proven to be reliable as well as economically to install and maintain.
