He isn’t officially leaving the touring cast. He’s just out of the tour for the Toronto stop due to shooting a TV pilot for ABC’s Limelight (male lead in the show). He will be returning to the touring cast once the tour is in Boston. Matt Doyle (Hanschen on Broadway and Melchior understudy- he’s also been on the CW’s Gossip Girl a few times). Matt is really sweet and nice. I saw him as Hanschen and he was amazing! I’m sure he’s awesome as Melchior, if you’re lucky enough to see him. I’m sure Kyle will eventually be leaving the touring cast, but no official date has been announced.
