Kumho tires are made in Korea. Personally I don’t think they are as good overall than Yokohama tires, the largest manufacturer in the world. Very few Yokohama tires are made in Japan. Most are made in the USA. I’ve got to tell you a small story: My niece just stuck a set of Nokian tires on her Volvo. Nokian is noted for their excellent winter and all weather tires. We thought they all were made in Finland. In tiny letters on the sidewall it said they were made in Russa.
