Is Kirkland Dog Food better than Nutro Natural Choice and Nutro Ultra?
No, Nutro is a better food. While Kirkland isn’t a bad food, it is not as high quality as Nutro. Kirkland is actually the same as Diamond Naturals Lamb and Rice and has been packaged, with a private label, by Diamond for Costco. If you are feeding a food with corn or bi-products, Kirkland is 100% better. If you already feed a food such as Nutro, you may notice they eat a little more, coat isn’t as soft and shiny, shed more,etc. Think of it this way- fresh veggies are better and provide more for us than frozen, and frozen provide more than canned, but canned isn’t at all bad. Think of Kirkland as canned, Nutro as frozen and Nutro Ultra as fresh.
