Is kingda ka in six flags great adventure open today?
It’s been messed up for most of this year. It wasn’t running on opening day, and it wasn’t running when we went there in May. The last I heard, they removed the hydraulic motors and the ride wouldn’t be running until some time in August. It especially sucked for us because we drove five hours each way. We haven’t had much luck with launch coasters this year. Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point (ten hours away) wasn’t ready for opening day, and we waited five hours in line before the rain started and most of the rides got shut down. Hershey Park’s Storm Runner wasn’t running when we went there, and we were told it hadn’t been running at all and they didn’t know when it would be running. Darien Lake’s Motocoaster (a much weaker launch coaster) was running on opening day (they didn’t even have the trains in sight), but it was running in July. The only launch coaster that wasn’t a problem for us was Possessed (formerly known as Voodoo) at Dorney Park in May, but it doesn’t offer the thrill
