Many people wondered whether a real King Arthur exists. Like many legends, the existence of a real person has been up for debate. Basically, King Arthur was the legendary ruler of 6th century Britain who appears in medieval romances. He was a righteous king who was surrounded by a loyal fellowship of Knights of the Round Table.
