Is Key largo hosting little league tournaments?
South Florida all-star teams come to Key Largo for two Little League district tournaments later this month. The Upper Keys Little League hosts the District 8 South Pool of the Majors (ages 11-12) and Minors (ages 9-10) tournaments at the Key Largo Community Park. The Minors tournament is expected to begin either June 19 or June 20; the Majors take the field a week later. Four to five teams are expected for each of the tournaments. An Upper Keys Little League all-star team also will travel to the Age 10-11 Tournament, played entirely in Doral. Final rosters for the tournament all-star teams will be decided this week. In-House All-Stars The Upper Keys Little League’s annual In-House All-Star games were scheduled to be played Friday (results not available at press time).
