Is keeping close with high school friends through college do-able?

The sad truth is that what you’ve heard is pretty much right. One thing you’ll see is that a lot of the friends you had were schools friends. It’s not something you think about because you see them every day at school but if you think about it I bet you don’t hang out with a lot of them outside of school. As far as close friends it is possible to stay close. But you will most likely drift apart. Think about it. You’ll be super busy with school and possibly work, making new friends, and incapable of actually spending time with old friends. It creates a relationship distance. The bright side is that you’ll be making new friends. For most people, the friends you have for the rest of your life are primarily the ones you make in college, not high school. Edit: To the guy above me, I agree. I’ve never been involved in a frat but I’ve never seen it as much more than kids who don’t want to let go of the immaturity and hierarchy of high school life. It’s high school 2.0, in my opinion. Make up
