Kamdar Private Limited (as a privately held Joint Stock Company – KPL) was incorporated in 1938. The promoter of the company was Mr. B. M. Kamdar. Until 1995, the company’s manufacturing facilities were located in Mumbai. Today, KPL runs a large, fully mechanized manufacturing facility with latest state of the art machinery on 7 acres of property located 30 km outside the city of Pune. The factory boasts of its own captive power plant and has the capability of processing very large volumes. The company has also kept ample space for future expansions.
