Is Kairi going to have a love interest?
I’ve thought about this for YEARS. At one point, even toyed with the idea of having her get a crush on Selphie or another girl, but I decided that would too much of a change in her character too quickly. But, at this point in the story, it’s a little late for her to take an interest in someone. That’s not to say it’s impossible, since I’ve been keeping my eye open for a good opportunity… I tend to prefer the writing philosophy that “not everyone has to end up with someone else to be happy,” but in the case of Kairi, I do want to end the story with some hint of her finding someone. I’m just not sure if it’ll happen.
