Is Jordans Furniture one of the stores accepting used prom dresses to donate to girls in need?
Jordan’s Furniture is again teaming up with Anton’s Cleaners for another wonderful donation program that will provide prom dresses to teenage girls who might not otherwise have the means or opportunity to attend the event. The program, called “Belle of the Ball”, collects gently-used prom dresses and distributes them through schools and social service agencies. We are asking people to donate their gently-used, wearable prom dresses to Jordan’s Furniture during the next couple of months. Dresses will be collected in the main CAST office of each store until April 14th. Anton’s Cleaners will clean and store the dresses and in April 2008 the dresses will be distributed to girls at a “Belle of the Ball” boutique, set up at Simmons College. The prom is a very important event in the life of a teenage girl and many cannot attend because of financial hardships or family situations.
