The tabloids would love you to believe that Johnny Depp is finally going to marry longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis. I’m not so sure that it’s the case, and not just pure speculation. He has previously said, “I don’t feel like I need a piece of paper that says I own her and she owns me”, yet he’s reportedly engagement ring shopping? I don’t think he would have had a change of heart on something like this, but that’s just my opinion. Sources say that he had a high-end jewelry store in California close down so that he could shop privately for engagement rings on December 10th. An insider said that he made a “very large purchase.” He could’ve purchased her a nice necklace or something. Just because he was there and bought something nice, doesn’t mean that we’ve got confirmation that our Johnny is officially off the market, right?
