Is Jake Lockers inaccuracy the biggest offensive problem right now?
Lappano: It’s not where we need it. He’ll be first to tell you that. We had a couple opportunities with guys open. We can’t miss throws. When people are going to press us and we want to throw the ball downfield, give the guy an opportunity to make a play on the ball. If you overthrow him 10 yards you’re not really giving the guy a chance to make a play. The other thing you can get on that is a (pass interference). If you let them battle for the ball, (there’s) a chance you get that pass interference call. Give the receiver a chance to make the catch. We still need to separate a little better, but there’s no question we need to throw the ball better than we’re throwing it. It’s not good enough. Thoughts on the running back rotation against ASU? Lappano: Outside of one dance, I thought (Louis Rankin) had a good game. He ran a guy over on that 38-yard run. I went crazy. Other than that one dance — and I went crazy on on that — he only did that one time. J.R. Hasty ran OK. Brandon Johnso
