Is it wrong to wear a rasta peace sign tshirt when you know nothing of the movement?
Even apart from questions of religion and spirituality, it makes sense to have some understanding of various symbols on our clothing and other things; we may have no idea what we are appearing to support, and who might be getting wrong ideas as a result. It wouldn’t be reasonable to carry this too far and to become obsessed with every possible thing that could be ‘symbolic’. It is good to be reasonably careful and to ask about questionable symbols, or symbols that seem to repeat in various contexts.
