Is it wrong to be skeptical about religion?

No, I don’t think it is wrong. However, I do believe it it wrong to not do anything about doubts. We have doubts so we can ask God questions! James 1:5-6 says “If any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.” Without skepticism of religion, we would fall into false traditions of man. We need to ask God in faith about our doubts, and He will give us an answer. That’s what He does for me.

Skepticism is the opposite of faith, so you can either think faith is a bunch of crap or think that to be skeptical is to be wrong.

It’s best to be skeptical about religion. Use your brain – that’s why you have one!

Nothing is wrong. Be at your natural best. But remember that when you talk, read, write or any skill you developed it is not originally invented by you. All this you learnt either from institution or from your parents. Likewise about religion you should have proper education. You can]t have hearsay and start concluding. Learn from authorised guru and conclude.
