Is it wrong for German Government to ban Scientology?
While I do not agree with Scientology in the least, I do agree with your point that it is completely inappropriate for the German government to try to ban the practice. Germany is a democratic country and as such, should be based on the practice of freedom of religion. Let’s just hope the government is unsuccessful in trying to ban the religion.
Bpjam’s equating of modern Germany to Nazi germany is typical of scientology’s “fair game” policy of destroying its opponents in any way possible. Attacking Germany is all the rage among scientologists lately, as evidenced by Tom Cruise’s last film. Scientology is not a religion. Every religion has the worship of a Higher Power and a moral code of conduct at its core. Scientology lacks both. Scientology is also the only “religion” I know of which requires its followers to pay for “treatments” which have been previously deemed to have no scientific merit whatsoever by the US government. It is because of that ruling that L. Ron Hubbard made his “alternative” to psychology a religion; not to mention the added benefit of not paying taxes on the money they garner from their followers. Scientology also guns for psychology because psychology reveals them for the corporate psychopaths that they are- yes, CORPORATE. Scientology is a BUSINESS. I won’t go into all of the other reasons why it shou
NotGoingBack must be a statement about sanity or society. But geez you got some gigantic grudge. Is your personal religion ‘hating scientology’?? First, regardless of what you think you know (and I’ve undoubtedly seen anything you think is proof) there is no such thing as ‘fair game’. Try being rational for just a moment. What is the difference between ‘fair game’ and ‘rapid response team’ which the Clinton campaign used against Bush 41? Or how about moveon.org? How about the Teamsters? Do you think that people who are criticized or maligned or accused of crimes or physically attacked all just go into hiding? Aren’t you guilty of ‘fair game’ by making wild accusations of crimes despite not being a witness to anything yourself? Second, Scientology is a religion. You don’t have to like it. I’m sure they would probably prefer that you weren’t one of them just you’d be absolutely unpleasant at an office party or pot luck. Apparently you know so little about
I lived through the insanity of scientology just by befriending a scientologist for one year. In that one year (and it was one year too long), I experienced the whole enchilada of scientology lunacy: the unsolicited authoritative hypnosis, the bullying, the espionage, AND the fair game policy which states (and this is a direct quote from Wikipedia which is notorious for ensuring accuracy): ENEMY — SP (suppressive person) Order. Fair game. May be deprived of property or injured by any means by any Scientologist without any discipline of the Scientologist. May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed.” Why don’t you come out and say that you’re a scientologist bpjam? Don’t even bother answering. I know that you’re practicing fair game just by denying that fair game exists. You’re lying- plain and simple. I also know that you’re probably ashamed to admit that you payed all that money to find out that your “religion” is based on a science fiction story about aliens. Your head is so full of
