Is it worth potty training day before night, or all together?

Don’t worry about night. That is unconsious on your daughters part and waking her to use the potty will have adverse effects on her learning to sleep properly. Day time is when she is bright and willing to learn and once she understands the process it will filter through to her unconsious too. My daughter was day-trained my 22mths and shortly after – though wearing a nappy at night – would wake and cry saying she was wetting the bed – so she understood that to wee was ‘wrong’ even though I never told her off as I knew it was OK in the nappy. She started getting up for one wee in the potty at about midnight and then, despite still nursing in the night, would remain dry and would get up to use the toilet by herself in the morning. At the mo – she is 33mths – she is variable. If I leave the nappy off she sometimes wets the bed but whilst she is wearing it she either wakes for a wee, wee’s in the nappy or remains dry. I know however that this will not be a problem when she stops nursing at
