I would suggest you get someone knowledgeable in real estate to tell you the answer to your question. I find it hard to believe they can change the rules for people already in the system. They may be able to change the rules for people who have not purchased yet, but I believe you are an owner with all rights your received at the time you made your purchase. This means that you are not eligible for VIP rights. Look into it to protect your past purchases. In the mean time don’t buy any more, Remember these timeshare companies need the maintenance fees they get form the resellers and the number of people available to buy is not going up as fast as the building that are being constructed. The only people who get slighted by resellers are the sales persons and for the most part people who buy through resellers will not buy through the resorts. This means the resorts do not lose out on sales and they gain the continued income through maintenance fees.
