Is It Worth It To Get the Patriotic Buzz Lightyear?
That depends. If you have a kid who is fanatical about Buzz Lightyear (like mine) or one who loves the stars and stripes design, then this Buzz would be an excellent choice. My son likes having two Buzz Lightyears so he can have one flying in each hand to “get that bad guy, Zurg.” However, I know another boy who got the Stars & Stripes Buzz Lightyear after already owning the original Buzz and he hardly ever plays with the new one. It just doesn’t offer a significant number of unique features, compared to the original. Personally, I prefer the Stars & Stripes Buzz Lightyear over the original Talking Buzz Lightyear but then it isn’t my toy so it doesn’t really matter what I think. My son seems to like them both equally. Though we’ve only had this Buzz for a couple of months, it seems to be quite durable. He’s been dropped on the Pergo floor a number of times with no signs of damage or even chipping paint (a problem with the original Buzz). I expect a long battery life, as well, since the
