I think it’s worth it. Either the click wheel dies or the hard drive. There are a lot of problems being reported with the previous iPods and while we don’t know if they fixed these you’re probably better off with a warranty plan. You should also go with Apple and not BestBuy or Circuit City. Apple usually takes great care of their customers and they’re very keen not to offend their customers since it’s pretty much the base their running on. So yeah, you should consider getting the extended warranty.
