Is it worth getting a Plantronics 975 BT headset for 3GS?

There seems to be mixed reviews about using the Plantronics 975 with the 3GS not least a problem with static when using multipoint pairing with another phone. I’d like to know if anyone is using it with no problems, simply paired to a 3GS, nothing else. Thanks.
