Is it wise for the United States to employ the services of Blackwater?
It is very judgemental for you use the term mercenaries, but I’ll put my 2 cents in anyway. Yes, I think it is a good idea to employ their services. The majority of their employees are retired military and law enforcement, and provides them a good opportunity to make some good money, serve their country, and relieve our military personnel from “guard duty”, because we all hate doing that detail, and we have specific military occupational specialties to be focused on. I also believe they should be held accountable for their actions and follow the same rules of engagement as military personnel.
