Is it weird to have winter as a favorite season?
There are so many great things about winter. Here are just a few I can think of off the top of my head: • Winter sports (skiing, ice skating, snowboarding, sledding) • The beautiful view after a snow storm, when everything is blanketed in pure white. • Sitting curled up in front of a fire on a cold day. • Winter holidays, and all the family visiting and traditions that go along with them. • Christmas cookies. • New Year’s Eve parties. • Air so crisp and clean that steams when you breathe out. I love winter time. In fact, when my husband took out our window air conditioners last month, he cracked up because I had put post-its on all the storm windows that said “Yay! Winter’s coming!” I lived in Georgia for five years, and could never get used to the lack of snow. I hated it, it just didn’t feel like winter when the big “snow” of the year was an inch dusting. Maybe. As soon as we could, we moved back up to a civilized climate…a place where winter includes plenty of snow. And I’ve loved
