Is it true tornadoes are drawn to take the same path as previous tornadoes?

Tornadoes are not known to take the same exact path as previous tornadoes. Having two tornadoes with the same paths is very rare and purely coincidental. There is no scientific reason that tornadoes would follow the paths of tornadoes before them. The path of a tornado depends solely on the formation of the parent thunderstorm. Thunderstorm development location is nearly impossible to predict. Meteorologists are only able to predict a general area where thunderstorm and/or tornado development is possible. Each storm is unique and makes its’ own path.
