Yes, I think the grass is greener, at least in some parts of Canada – probably because of the humid and temperate climate as much as from the different soil compostion. In the southern states I found that any grass that did grow was very difficult to maintain and often did not even look like real grass. If you want to climb a huge tree, try a redwood in British Columbia – that would be a challenge. If you want to hang out in the “bush” go to any rural part of Canada – northern Ontario, Quebec, Atlantic Canada. For bush and forests like nowhere else in the world go to Labrador – but watch out for the black flies – they could carry you away.
