For the most part yes. There are two kinds of fiber, Soluable and Insoluable. One has an effect on blood sugar and the other doesn’t. I believe the total fiber listed is a combination of both of these. You can discount one gram of fiber for one gram of insoluable fiber for sure. Most folks just subtract from the total fiber listed since only a very small portion of the soluable fiber is actually used by the body. I doubt it’s enough to nitpick over. Fiber is good for you so subtract away.
