Is it true that UK Royal Navy is the 2nd most powerful in the world after US Navy?
The US navy took over as the Biggest Blue water Navy in 1972 After the British closed down its bases East of Suez and Cut back its military in all 3 services that was when the RN was declared the second Biggest Blue water Navy in the world but today the RN is about No 5 in the NATO alliance and i predict in 10 years wont be in the top 10 in the world I left the RAF and Britain in 1968 shortly before the Rats as proud of my association with the RN the British Army and my 9 years in the RAF you cannot win wars by saying we were the best in WW2 look at our History what history since about 1972 and don’t say the Falklands
