Is it true that studying Mechanical Engineering in Germany is the best place?

As someone that´s studied mechanical engineering both in the USA and in Germany, I can tell you that the German programs tend to be quite good. They´re not all MIT or CalTech, obviously, but RWTH Aachen and TU Darmstadt are definitely way up there. German engineers are certainly well-prepared. It definitely can´t hurt you to have a degree from a German university – and you also get the chance to become fluent in German, which is extraordinarily useful for mechanical engineers in any case.
