BOSTON — Teresa Heinz Kerry, the wife of Sen. John Kerry, is battling breast cancer. Over the past few months, Heinz has undergone four surgeries to remove cancerous lumps from both her breasts. She’ll be back in the hospital in January for five days of targeted radiation treatments. The 71-year-old is the widow of former Pennsylvania Sen. John Heinz, and the heir to the Heinz ketchup fortune. She married Sen. John Kerry back in 1995.
