Is it true that Queens songs contain hidden messages?
This was asked a while ago on the Queen Online.nl mailing list. I don’t think this is correct. Critics and people who don’t like the music always try to give the band a bad name, but most of the time this results in even greater popularity. Way back Ozzy Osbourne was sued, because some scientist said his song ‘Suicide Solution’ was the reason a seventeen year old boy had killed himself whilst listening to this song. At the end of the track there’s a little voice saying something which sounds like ‘Shoot! Shoot! Shoot!’. According to Ozzy himself he absolutely does not say that and that he feels terrible about the death of the boy. This is probably pretty much the same with Queen’s music. There are some nice gimmicks in their songs though. For example, when you listen to ‘Ogre Battle’ You hear a roaring sound getting louder and louder till the music starts and sounds backwards.
