Is it true that nationals of Chad, Central African Republic and Equatorial Guinea can be interviewed at the Embassy in Yaounde?
Visa applicants who are nationals of Chad, Central African Republic or Equatorial Guinea may seek visa services at the U.S. Embassy in Yaounde, Cameroon, without appointment on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings – i.e. on a walk-in basis. Residents of Chad and Equatorial Guinea should normally apply in Ndjamena or Malabo, as the consular officers in those posts will be better able to evaluate ties in those countries and to approve qualified candidates. In addition, third country nationals who are normally resident in these three countries and can provide proof of their residency status as such can also apply for visas in Yaounde.
