Is it true that mouth-breathing will lead to uneven teeth?
It is said that persons with mouth-breathing has weaker strength to close his lips compared to a normal person. Regular teeth is kept by the counter force between orbicular muscle of the mouth and cheek muscles pushing inwards and tongues pushing the teeth outwards. However, the teeth will become uneven if the inward force of orbicular and cheek muscles is weak. The correction doctor dislikes persons with bad tongues and weak lips. This is because even if the correction is completed after many years, the teeth alignment can easily be destroyed if the balance between both is not well. Recently, more doctors are adopting the “Lip Trainer Patakara®” therapy.
