Is it true that massive tree planting accelerate global warming by producing more methane?
first i hear of that ,with the massive depletion of forrests going on ,all over the world as well as desertification due to bad farming practises such as over pumping deep carbon aquifiers and the use of chemicals and over grazing ,i would have thought that we cannot plant enough trees and should be planting exstensively in urban areas as well to regulate the local climates as well as assist with humidity ,and if they are fruit trees we also take some pressure of agriculture , being involved in educating farmers with alternative ,sustainable farming methods we advocate agro forrestal when ever possible.
