Is it true that Marilyn Monroe and Joe Dimaggio were in love long after their divorce?
Supposedly, Joe and Arthur Miller were the only men who truly loved Marilyn. Joe hated the movie star business that Marilyn loved. This caused many problems in their marriage and so did the famous “flying skirt” picture. It is reported that Joe beat Marilyn because he hated that famous “flying skirt” picture. Marilyn was tired of the beatings and this was the cause for the divorce. Joe wanted Marilyn to be a housewife and she was made into a star by Hollywood. Although, Joe did place flowers at her grave site everyday as she had requested. Maybe Joe did love her long after the marriage ended – I don’t know ?
