Is it true that John McBride worked for Garth Brooks?
Yes. John McBride played two key roles in Garth’s organization: His company, MD Systems/Clair Brothers Audio, is one of the biggest and most successful concert-sound companies in the business, and provided the sound system for all of Garth’s concerts since 1990. John worked full-time for Garth beginning in 1991 as Production Manager on Garth’s concert tours. In March, 1998, John gave up traveling on the road with Garth’s tour to be able to travel full-time with Martina, but he continued to make all of the advance arrangements for Garth’s concert tours. He still runs MD/Claire and at last count had 28 tours on the road. Look for him at the audio console at Martina’s concerts; he mixes house sound to make sure Martina and the band sound great.
