Is it true that homeopathic remedies take a long time to work?
No. When the appropriate remedy is taken it immediately gives the immune system the prompt to begin rebalancing. This means that in an acute situation it should act almost instantaneously, for example a dose of belladonna when indicated will immediately reduce a child’s temperature. However if the illness is chronic the body will need to take it’s time to heal after the immune system has received the correct prompt in the form of a remedy. It is in this sense that remedies may appear to take time to work.
