Is it true that guys who love and respect their mother would make good husbands?
It’s not a guarantee if men love and respect their mothers that they will make good husbands. A lot of factors are involved. However, one thing for sure, a man who does not love nor respect his mother would never make a good husband, and this is guaranteed. In my culture “talking back” is not a sign of disrespect. It’s simply voicing out one’s opinion. It all depends on what words you use. Once you start swearing or manipulating your parents, this is totally unacceptable. Having an argument with one’s mother is not a sign of disrespect. It could happen with any family. You don’t have to be black and white about the situation. I can see that most Asians are very black and white about Parent/Child relationship. Children often obey their parents blindly, even in the choice of partners for marriage. Parents are not right all the time and not all mothers love their children or offsprings. Think about it. That is why an open discussion is very important to know what each party has in mind.
