Is it true that gays excel in the fashion industry and media (TV Music)?
I think the main reason gay men and women are so successful in the “entertainment industry” is because to make it in fashion or any other media you need to be open to change and be diverse which is exactly what gay people are! Alot of people have this stereotype in their head that gay men and women are “soft” or “expressive” which is true for some but alot of people tend to forget that the industries you mentioned are full of ruthless people! For example have you ever watched “Ugly Betty” on T.V.? There’s a gay guy in it and I can tell you now there’s very few gay men that are like him thankfully but he’s one of the most bitchy and ruthless men i’ve ever seen portrayed on T.V.! As for the media you have band like Tatu which is a lesbian group and they made it huge years ago because they were openly gay!
