Is it true that endoscopic or laparoscopic surgery fails after sometime ?

Certainly not. It is a misconception. The inside procedure of any surgery is same whether it is performed by conventional method or laparoscopically. It is only access to the organ of surgery different in two methods. Instead of a long incision as in conventional surgery, it is accessed through pinhole using endoscope in laparoscopic surgery. Hence, there is no truth in this myth that endoscopic surgery fails after sometime.
