Is it true that Crescent and the star came to Muslim through First Christian Byzantium Emperor Constantine I?
dont believe everything in wikipedia because it works for different aims like political cultural etc. crescent was symbol of kayı boyu, kayi tribe of Oghuz (today Turkish of Turkey, Azeris and Turkmenians), kayi tribe, when big mongol invasion of center asia, migrated to anatolia(Turkey) from Turkestan at 1200s, land of another Turkish tribe (kınık boyu, kinik tribe) anatolian seljuks empire, they helped seljucks for when they fighting against mongols and seljucks gifted lands (şöğüt and domaniç ) to kayi tribe and after they found Ottoman empire (osmanlı family of osman, osman was a grandson of suleyman) first ottoman flag seems like crescent red and white i dont have any idea where come from star excepts some legends but islam hasnt got any symbol just green is color of islam.
