Is it true that antioxidants help omega-3 work better?
Antioxidants, such as Vitamins E and C, may prevent omega-3 fatty acid oxidation in the body. This prevents the formation of so-called lipid peroxides, which are highly reactive and possibly damaging. This could possible help maintain higher levels of omega-3s. These vitamins are harmless, and appear to have their own health benefits, when used as directed.
