Is it true that Anthrax Found in African Drum Woman Was Playing?
Boston (DbTechNo) – A woman from the state of New Hampshire is being treated for anthrax poisoning after she contracted it from an African drum she was playing. According to New Hampshire’s Public Health Director, Jose Montero she was hospitalized earlier this month and then transferred to another facility in Massachusetts for treatment. Tests on the African drum she was playing confirm naturally occuring anthrax in the animal hide and now the next step is to compare the strain found in the drum to the strain the woman is dealing with.
