Is it true most minority celebrity don do charity or fundraising?
Sounds like an awful urban myth — where did you hear this? Until there is a review done of all celebrities regarding their philanthropic activities (money to charity, volunteering, advocacy, etc.), we will never know. Many people are very private about their giving — some celebrities want to be filmed working at a soup kitchen or touring an impoverished community or holding a charity event, but others want to do this away from the spotlight — they feel it’s too personal and private to have media attention. Gandhi said that you should be the change you want to see in others. So, if you are bothered by people who don’t volunteer or donate money to causes, then YOU should volunteer and donate money in the way you believe others should.
