Is it true drinking lots of milk, stretching and improving posture will make you taller?
I think stretching and improving your posture definitely makes you appear taller, I am pretty sure that the combination of the three above would not gain you 2inches though. I have never heard of it before and I am sure if milk, stretching and posture made you taller, at a mere 4ft 11in, I would have heard about it years ago…..
Milk: Usually linked with strong bones, I’m sure it plays a part in growth because it is nutritious and contains a lot of nutrients. Stretching: I’ve taken yoga and the purpose of it is to stretch out every parts of your body (arms, legs, etc) – and I’m pretty sure that it does work (to an extent, I doubt it will make you 2 inches taller though). When you do yoga you “reach” and what you do to one side of the body, you do equal amounts of stretching to the other. Posture: I haven’t heard this before, but this is coming from common sense – if you’re standing with a straight back opposed to a hunched over back then you’re going to appear taller. They also say you grow the most while you sleep so get lots of sleep! And there’s nothing wrong with being 5’6”.
