Is it too late to treat an uterine infection after 7 months?
Reading that made me very sad. It is NEVER to late to treat an infection. Whether you took the antibiotics “too late” is ultimately answered by what happened. That is difficult to answer immediately. Your immune system was on top of the infection, which is good. However, you face two questions to determine the impact. 1) What damage did the microbes do? 2) What damage did your immune system do during the fight? Once an infection gets into the uterus, bad outcomes become more likely. You felt pain in your ovaries and your uterus, meaning that your entire reproductive tract is impacted.
