Is it too late to grow grass from seed?
You just missed your window of opportunity to grow grass from seed. In order to grow good grass you need warm days and cool nights. That usually happens in mid September here in Massachusetts. Following your soil test recommendations you should have applied the fertilizer, lime, compost and compost tea by now. Remember, last time you mow this season, just before the snow, mow short (1-1 1/2″) to prevent snow mold over the winter.
