Is it too late to get tickets to the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver?
There are certainly tickets still available. Of course, it all depends on the popularity of the event you’d like to attend. I lived in Los Angeles during the 1984 Summer Olympics. We were all told that “it will be an absolute zoo – if possible, take a vacation and go out of town during the Games”. I wasn’t planning to attend any events. Wisely, I decided that I was lucky that the Olympics were coming to my hometown (not many people can say that). About one week before the Games, I was able to get tickets to a quarterfinal soccer game (it turned out to be France vs. Egypt – France went on to win the gold medal) and a basketball game between China and Uruguay.
